Default Noise in/above cylinder 1 high compression GSR

I just finishied building my GSR using all new parts and on cylinder 1 there is a tick that does not go away even once the car has warmed up. The noise is a pinging sound and only on cylinder one. If I pull the spark plug wire off and the noise stops and when i put the plug wire back on it pings in cylinder 1 only. I can do this on all other cylinders and it has no issues. The car drives great and pulls hard. I have tried pulling timing and adding fuel nothing has helped. When I replaced the oil pan gasket over the weekend I pulled the main and bearing caps and there is no wear or damage to any bearings. The cylinder wall did not show any scoring that I could see from the bottom of the cylinder with the piston at TDC.

Any suggestions on where to look next or what the noise may be would be greatly appreciated. I am not looking foward to tearing apart my daily but I'm thinking Im going to have to pull the head and re-ring atleast cylinder one. I haven't found any metal shavings anywhere in the motor or oil pan to lead me to believe anything has failed either.

I'm trying to get this resolved ASAP so I can try out the new nitrous system I just finished getting together.

The engine has the following parts:
B18C block 82mm supertech pistons (12.0:1 compression)
I do not have the paperwork with me for what I clearance everything to but the pistons were put in to supertechs "no break-in" tolerance for cylinder to wall and piston ring gap if I remember correctly they were the tightest recomended settings.
Skunk2 Alpha GSR Rods
OEM Honda bearings (All checked with a mic and plastigauge double checked)
P72 head mild port (Just cleaned out the casting flaws)
Stock GSR camshafts (Cam gears set at 0 both intake and exhaust)
Supertech Black nitride coated flat face valves
Supertech dual springs
Supertech aluminum retainers w/ 10 degree keepers
Car is set at stock 16 degree timing
Air fuel at idle is 14.7:1
Valve lash it set at OEM tolerance
NGK BKR7E11 spark plugs
Skunk 2 ultra street intake manifold
Skunk 2 70mm throttle body

Sorry for the long post any help would be greatly appreciated! If this is in the wrong place please move it for me. Thank you!

What wires are you running? Dizzy/cap/rotor all in good shape? Makes me wonder if you are getting some interference in cylinder #1 from somewhere. Doesn't make sense for it to tick only when it has spark. That's a good thing...means no p2v contact. Is it a quick ping? Like with the rotation of the motor?

NGK wires and resistor type NGK plugs BKR7E-11 running a Honda cap and rotor both brand new. Literally everything in the motor is brand new.

I do have some interference in the harness I've been trying to figure out. My VSS occasionally will freak out and move the speedometer along with the tachometer signal.

The noise seems to match with the firing of the cylinder.

Is the motor properly grounded?

I have a ground to the transmission case, cylinder head, and intake manifold. I have made sure to sand any powder coating or paint off of everything. My first guess was the thermostat ground I will double check it in the morning.
