Default Spotting Fake Floor Mats

I noticed some differences with the a set of OEM floor mats on ebay and would like to share. The buy it now price is $300, and honestly they are not in great condition.

UPDATE: At first I thought they might be fake, but KevinEF7 informed that they are not. Seems strange considering the one set doesn't have part numbers on them like the other does.

The white line moves in position from year to year and even by area. Well documented on crxcommunity

Stop caring so much, there floor mats, there for your dirty feet, go outside and talk to real people

My fault. Yeah, the work at home option seems nice at first, but then you start getting really bored.

Personally, floormats are one of the few parts for cars that I couldn't care less about being OEM. Just give me correct color and shape and I'm perfectly happy with aftermarket sets. Carpet is a close second on my list of don't-care-if-it's-OEM, but only due to aftermarket sets generally not being molded well enough. Some of the prices I've seen paid for raggedy OEM mats over the years is really puzzling to me.

Of course, I can see the benefit of pristine OEM mats at some Concours d'Elegance type show, but I don't believe anything of the sort of meticulous numbers-matching OEM obsession car show exists in the Honda world.

And this may be sacrilege but I've always thought the CRX mats were ugly :x

But still good tips

$300? LOL i have some blue ones like that, they are pretty beat up but i will only take $100 for them. Then I can get some decent aftermarket ones and save the rest of the money for beer. Those are not worth $300 imo. For $300 they better be in much nicer condition that that. Honestly once i get new aftermarket ones my stock ones go in the trash.

I didn't know that they were not all the same. Been wanting to do one set for me since they are so expensive.
