Making this thread for a buddy of mines. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

My buddy's car wont start. We changed the alternator because he said his battery light came on. Then checked his dizzy and it was broken. We replaced those two and checked all ground. One thing I did notice is that the CEL doesn't come on when the fuel pump primes. Car does crank.

Any good starting points?

Also check whether the CEL bulb was removed from the cluster.

 

It would also be a good idea to tell your friend to register. These middle man threads never end well.
