98 Civic hatchback - window regulator?

98 Civic hatchback - window regulator?
replacing my manual window regulator in my 98 hatch.
the only problem is the scisor lift syle regluator is what was in it and all any of the local parts stores have is the kind with one metal bar goin across and a cable system that goes to the roll up handle ****.
will this style work? if not what do i do its all they have availible to them.
