hey if anyone knows about electronics, i had an incident were i removed the ignition from the steering wheel, because i had gotten my key stuck in there. Aparently, im guessing i put it back wrong and when i turned the wheel it made a cracking noise as if a piece of plastic broke. after that my srs airbag light stayed on. i dont know what broke but could use some help... Also my dash`s lighting is not working. when u touch the dimmer it kinda wants to go out. My a/c pannel is also half lit. ???

 

You broke the cable reel. Get the service manual and use it to avoid causing more damage in the future.

 

cool i will get that checked. Also when i bought this civic it had an alarm system in it, but they removed the fuse due to some problem with the remote or something. How can i tell what kind of alarm system it is, or would i have to go and get it checked.

 

Sounds like you have a bad dimmer switch and some bulbs burned out in the climate control and possibly cluster as well as the broken cable reel

You can jumper the dimmer to test the lighting

 

by any chance what tire size would fit some 15X7 40 Offset 4x100/4x114.3 rims
