Just traded my 98 ek for a 94 del sol, and the radio isn't working. When the key is in the on position, the radio is on and runs fine, but when the car is actually on and running, the radio wont turn on at all. I've checked all the fuses, etc... for the life of me can't figure out what it'd be.. Maybe a bad head unit?

Are you saying the radio works with the key in ON(I) but not in ON(II)? If so, the problem is probably the ignition switch.

 

Yup thats exactly what I'm saying. And damn that sucks..

 

You can replace just the electrical part of the switch. There should be no need to replace the entire lock cylinder. The electrical part of the switch is about $50 on eBay.
