after a lot of work, just got back from paint...
long story...

yeah that could be, sorry for the short intro there, I am planning on doing a retro-build thread. I bought the 97 civic w/99 front end off of a guy a hundred or so miles away, last December, who is an engine builder. The car itself was kind of trashed, but solid and it had a fresh LS/VTECH in it with a GSR head and all the right goodies.
Hopefully over the next week or so I can document what I have done to it so far, and what is left to do.

in the already done column:
complete interior redo / cover interior / install A?C
undercar / eibach suspension RAISE
exhaust / header / ignition / S300
exterior w/ various mods

in the yet to do column
sway bars / stiffeners / suspension tuning
JRSC install and tuning (already have the full kit w/ 6-8-10lb pulleys for GSR head)
stereo install

and to answer your question, yes the color is ford Chrome Yellow, Color code BZ, I rattle canned the door jambs, and hatch area and the exterior is a Maaco Urethane paint job, i still have the underhood area to do... also pulled apart the headlights and tailights and color matched them... oh and added a wing or 2... and some bumper vents. Its all a little hard to keep track of

Prepare to have your thread moved if you do not provide anything technical related....did you pick the color?

Well, as long as you're happy with the results, that is what matters.

I can honestly say that, as far as I can remember, I've never seen head/tail lights painted like that.

yes I thought that would be different and the combo Spoon replica wing with the european SIR wing I havent seen either. Also that is a Cervinis hood, which you dont see that often, with the vents on the side filled in to make it cleaner looking. the hood is also vented at the back well, that will keep the JRSC cooler, and it has 2 guage holes over on the divers side, for the boost and another guage. I like the look... I am not sure of its widespread acceptance as of yet. I have done a lot to the car

Not a fan of the hood or painted tail/headlights but it's your car so whatever you like. Can I ask you a question tho, what's with the covered grill?

retro-build as in period correct mods?

the idea is cool, requires my fav bumper of that time period, the Tsunami T2000

Failing that, you would need a wings west kit. Anything but the agressor.

Needs TSW or Enkei period correct wheels, like the TSW Evo I like. OR even a Konig wheel would be period correct.

Then some suspension techniques sway bars, and drop forks (good luck finding them).

And the mandatory 'modern image' or 'hondasport' windshield banner.

Greddy exhaust also... a must even though the sound deadening will blow out in 2 years.
