Found these wheels for sale. Wonder if they are real or not. They are in japan and have a weight of Around 11.6 lb.

I know. I was planning on using some wheel adapters to make them fit. They are 1/3 the price of the 5x114.3 wheels and I cant see myself dishing out 3 grand if these will work. If these are legit, I might get them.

There is no way I'd use wheel adapters. Plus you're adding what, an additional inch or so usually with the adapters, so those +45 wheels are going to become +20 wheels.

Hope you have your fenders rolled...

I was thinking of getting some 15mm (0.590) adapter, the thinnest they have. Along with the stock suspension and a good tire combo,I was hoping that they wouldnt rub. Fenders arent rolled btw.

You're honestly going to trust a 15mm wheel adapter??? Even some places that custom make adapters won't make them that thin.

I know I went to an SCCA autox once and the tech guy wouldn't let him run with wheel adapters. Not sure if that's a rule or they were just covering their @ss.

Proper adapters are at least 1" (~25mm) with the nice ones being 1.125" And at that size, a +20offset is going to rub.

$3000!!! If I can get those prices I should sell mine!

I would be patient and continue to look for some that need refinishing (if your trying to save some $$$) in the right offset and bolt pattern. User by the name of Spids5 might be able so source you a set as he has a lot of sets for sale in the marketplace quite often.

There is a set of 16x7 BNIB for like $2800 right now in the marketplace FYI.

Im trying to stay in the 1400 range. Maybe I can find a beat up set and refinish them, like mentioned in previous post.

Beat up ones for $1400 then refinish them? Might as well spend $1800. I bought some bnib ones for that price.
