Maintenance help ?
I just bought a 1995 Honda Civic coupe, anyone know what maintenance needs to be done at 182K miles... the previous owner said he didn't do any changes to the car.
In a nutshell if you're willing to dish it out
-full tune up (spark plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor), check ignition timing
-fuel filter
-drive belts
-timing belt/water pump
-check for any oil leaks and repair (valve cover gasket, front main seal, distributor O ring)
-if manual transmission, fluid drain and fill
-coolant flush
-brake fluid replacement
-power steering fluid replacement (if applicable)
This is just engine/trans area type maintenance, not including brakes, suspension, etc
