JDM B16A Evap purge nipple missing and potential IAT move
Apparently I have a jdm style P30 B16a intake manifold, someone has apparently tapped the IAT and mounted it, however there is no evap solenoid nipple on the back. I have found documentation for a skunk 2 manifold however it gives no size or a place to obtain the fitting that gets threaded into the hole (I need the size of the hole to drill and tap necessary as well). Does anyone know where to get this fitting? Also is it worth me extending the IAT wires and just moving the IAT to the rubber tubing that runs between the air box and the TB since the D16Z6 harness I am using does not have a long enough reach to connect to the IAT where it sits in Runner #1 of the manifold? I am attaching a pic of the IAT
the purge solenoid goes to the back of the manifold, can't tell the last time I have mine do its job. plug it in zip tie it to the firewall.
South Carolina? Delete the evap. The JDM engines don't have them and no code will be thrown.
The IAT is like that on OBD1 style manifolds. Just solder in a longer wire if need be to make it reach or you might be able to unwrap some loom and tape on your harness and make it work.
