I recently purchased a 97 Civic with D15 and a couple spun bearings and an automatic. Im debating on swaping in a b series with a 5 speed or just rebuild the D15 and swap the transmission.

Anyone have any tips for swapping the 5 speed in? Or link to another thread that has it all? I'm used to trucks so any help would be greatly appreciated!

swapping an auto to 5 speed seems simple but very time consuming, but if you can go for it but my advice would be to buy a 5 speed already as to motor swaps definitely do the b series unless your do forced induction on the d series cause you cant get much hp out of a d series
