Default 1994 civic CX mini-me questions

I've got a stock 1994 civic CX I just picked up. It doesn't have nearly enough power for me so I was considering doing a mini me with a d16z6 head on my d15b8 block. What are the pros and cons of doing that build? Can my block handle the extra power, and will I have enough compression? Also should I swap the ecu and engine harness as well, or just wire the O2 sensor and Vtec myself also if I decide to go ahead and just get a complete d16z6 will it bolt up to the d15 mounts where they are now? And the car is a standard. Sorry if some of these questions are 'noob' or already have answers posted. I'm at work so can't spend much time searching the forums and my usual swap guy is MIA. Thanks all.

Please see the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum:

https://honda-tech.com/honda-civic-d...tions-1998336/

Section six has everything you need to know I'm pretty sure:

After that, if you have specific tech questions, come back and create a new thread.

FYI, B8 block and B7 block are the same, it's the head that is different.

Thanks.
