Trying to find the right HID kit (2013 Si)
I am trying to find out which brand is better. Ive bought ebay ones b4 and they werent bad at all..... but I want to put a realy good set in my '13 Si Sedan. anybody have any suggestions? thanks
another ?. As far as the bulb size, Ive found that the high beams are 9005, and the low beams are 9006. take it i gotta buy 2 diff sets?!. i thought they where the same bulb.
Yep its 2 different bulbs .
FYI if you are doing something with your high beam bulb , they are also your daytime running lights so HIDs wont be half powered . They will stay ON 100% during normal driving

Be careful about those 'official' Philips kits.
There are 2 kinds out there, and both are actually not that great.
--
1st kind, is a blatant rip-off of the name, nothing but generic parts with boot-legged stickers and packing.

2nd kind, is a 'licensed manufacture.' I.E. some countries make deals with Philips Germany to make 'official' kits for them, Don't be fooled though, even these don't make them any much better. It's more of a way some countries avoid import-tax's or fees by making a version of a kit for their country under the philips name, but NOT using actual phillips components or ballast/bulb design.
Think of Depo in Taiwan, their import fees and over-all relations with Japan was so bad at a time that Honda licensed "Depo" to make the official headlights for them in that country instead of importing in Stanleys. Sure the Depo's are really good, but they are not 100% up to true OEM quality.
For the best i've seen year after year with continual improvements in quality and design, the stuff that TRS brings in has always been on the top of the list, especially their full XB line of bulbs and ballasts now.
