i have bought new bulbs and they run with the parking lights but when i brake they dont do anything only the drivers side brake lights work
it must be wiring but my fuse box doesnt have the actual brake light. only the running parking lights
if someone can help me on what to do or wher the brake light fuses are that would help alot.
thanks in advance
Your car has a separate left brake light failure sensor (BLFS) and a right BLFS.
The issue is probably due to the right brake light failure sensor (BLFS). Inside the BLFS unit, there are esssentially several relays built into it. The right BLFS operate the high mount brake light and the right brake lights.

Where is the location of the BLFS I need to replace mine.
There are two light failure sensors in the trunk area; the left sensor (usually brown) is for the left outer and inner brake lights, while the right sensor (usually black) is for the right outer and inner brake lights, and high mount brake light.
The brake light failure sensors are use to help indicate if a bulb burnt out, and power has to go through it to the brake light bulbs. The sensor components may go bad or solder joints crack with age/use; where power no longer goes through relay coils inside the sensor to the brake light bulb.
