Hi, my name is Ashwin.
I come from Belgium.

I’ve an 1983 civic with a couple of modifications.
The original car was a 1300cc, 60hp.
I’ll start with the spec list.

Engine:

- B18C-R
- BMC airbox
- Custom 2.5” exhaust
- lightweight crankpulley
- custom enginemounts
- custom shifterlinkage
- Bosch fuel pump
- mishimoto x-line radiator
- 12” fan
- Hondata s300
- AEM wideband
- Custom axels from peters autosport
- Hasport hydro to kabel clutch

That’s all that I can think of right now

This adds up to :
Power: 214hp 201Nm

0-60: 4,7 sec.
1/4mile: low 13’s on street tires

What year was the AST suspension meant for? How much modification did it take for the fronts?

The whole suspension was custom made for my car, so it was plug and play.

Next year I will be competing in the Dutch Time Attack series.
Last year I already entered one round and finished 12th in pro street.
(this was with a broken clutch spring, so could not shift good)

This weekend I'm going to fabricate new top hats for my front suspension.
Because the stock ones are sitting in soft rubber bushings and allow the front suspension / tire to move under hard cornering. Resulting in positive camber and understeer. pic's will follow
