Up for sale is my 1988 Honda Civic Wagon DX. This is the FWD model and not the RT4WD model. This is not a WAGOVAN. Wagovans are the base models. I have owned this car since 2009 and it has been a great car to own. In my ownership, I have put a total of 8,000 miles on the car ( I bought the car with 98,xxx miles), it is only driven in the summer on nice days, and stored in a temperature controlled garage when it's not driven. Currently the Wagon has 106, 500 original miles on the chassis. There is also an AutoCheck Vehicle History Report that is attached to this ad.

The exterior is all original, aside from the 1989 Acura Integra front chin spoiler. A polyurethane front lip and a 90-91 DA integra lip that will be included in the sale if the purchaser is interested. It does have its dings and dents however the original paint shines nicely.

The car is originally from Georgia. It was purchased and towed back to MN. It has never seen snow and in my ownership it has seen rain a total of 8 times. When it's not being driven it is stored in a heated garage away from nature. The car is 99% rust free however within the engine bay before my ownership the battery exploded and caused some surface rust. This car was previously an automatic transmission vehicle however it has since been converted to manual and everything works correctly like it should. These cars are notorious for the clutch pedal assembly cracking/breaking so I have taken the initiative to welding and adding more support to the clutch pedal assembly.

I have done my best to source some of the best parts money can buy. The engine was replaced with a 1995 Integra GSR engine (B18C1), mounted in with the assistance of Hasport 62A EF-B mounts. The brain for this car is a chipped P28 by Phearable and smokes in VTEC, possibly because it's running too rich. The car has an AEM HYBRID V2 Cold Air Intake (designed for the EF-B-series swap), Skunk2 68mm throttle body, Skunk2 Intake manifold, Skunk2 Tuner Stage 1 cams and PEAK Performance Cam gears. I also added a rare SPFab Toda Replica Header (Spoolin Performance Fab- makes the best TODA header Replica designed after the TODA DC2R header = bigger primaries than the B16B header.) and added an old school Thermal Research and Development CR-X exhaust. The car is throwing 2 check engine light codes. One for a new idle air control valve and one for throttle angle. The car does smoke in vtec. It is running rich. I would suggest a tune.

The transmission is a YS1 (1993 Acura Integra GSR) transmission. The transmission will eventually need a rebuild. Third gear grinds at high rpms and it doesn't like quick shifts from 2nd gear to 3rd gear. The counter shaft bearing also makes noise. The clutch has also been replaced with an Exedy Stage 1 clutch. It is perfectly paired up with a Acura Integra Type R flywheel. I have also added the Hasport gold zinc coated EF-B shift linkage with Energy Suspension poly bushings and a B&M stainless steel straight short shifter.

The car is currently on Function/Form Type II coilovers. The rear lower control arms have also been replaced with Function7 pieces. The EF chassis is notorious for wheel hop and lack of traction in the front so I have since replaced the front cross member piece to the FULL-RACE Traction Bar. I also added a rear strut tower bar in this car as well. Included with the purchase of this vehicle is a Progress 22mm front sway bar and a 93 Integra GS rear sway bar. This whole suspension set-up has seen only 4,000 miles of use.

At an extra cost a BBK conversion can be included. It includes a set of DA Acura Integra spindles (with new bearings packed with high temp racing grease and NEW Moog ball joints), a pair of BREMBO blank rotors from the 94-95 Honda Prelude VTEC, re-drilled to 4X100 spec. The calipers are brand new remanufactured '95 ACURA Legend GS dual piston calipers (these calipers are the same as the ACURA NSX Calipers, just without the NSX written on them and the cooling fins). EBC Yellow Stuff pads will be included as well for this package. All brake fluids will be pushed with a 1 inch master cylinder and brake booster from the DC2 Acura Integra.

The car will be sold with 13inch original finish wheels.

And the engine bay. This is an older picture, but I have since made some minor changes and cleaned it up a bit.

Super clean. The new owner would be so lucky to have this in their garage.
