I have posted on here before abt a build. Now im kinda stuck. So i am gonna ask suggestions yet again. I have a d15 that should need replaced. Cant get the b18 tht i wanted so gotta down size a bit. So my very important question is, what will work in the car without mods?. Just drop and drive...keep in mind i am wanting to boost. Not looking for a 450hp car but want some power

 

What do you mean what will work? If the swap is done correctly everything will work.

Any D-series engine will drop in, bolt up to your intake, exhaust, and transmission and run.

Just stick with a d16a6 or Sohc ZC, even a d15b7!

 

Ok. Last question which out of the d16zc d15b7 and the d16a6 would be best and tuned right boosted, how much power am i looking at

 

Ppg orange is gonna be the color too if any other suggestions with paint let me know

 

Sohc Zc - 118 hp at the crank
D16a6 - 108 hp at the crank
D15b7 - 102 hp at the crank

From researching in the past when i was thinking of boosting, the a6 bottom end stock could handle around 180-200 hp.

 

So a6 would be better or the zc. Looks like it produces more stock and if u boosted could it gain a little more

 

Id go with the Zc if you can get it for cheap.
