Default TPS

Just a couple of questions. I've recently cleaned my IACV and throttle body on my 98 GSR and it was idling just perfect. Then the next day my TPS sensor somehow almost broke in half and replaced it and now my idle fluctuates between 500 to 200 RPM's. I've double check the volts on the TPS (.50v) and is a brand new one. Already put fuel treatment a couple of weeks ago.Would my TPS affect my Idle? Any ideas on what can cause my idle to fluctuate?

Thanks for any help.
