Default 0bd1 car to obd2 distributor

Hi everyone and thanks in advance. i have a 95 civic dx with a B18B1 swapped into it the other day i was driving and it stalled. I fount it to be the rotor inside the distributer broke into pieces because the bearings inside the distributer were shot and alowed it to make contact with the points. i went and bought a new distributor and they gave me one for a OBD2 with the big plug well i didnt realize the plug was diffrent till i installed it now they will not take it back since it has been installed. so i put new plugs on the car side and distributor side and just matched all the colors. My problem is it now runs and idles fine but when i drive it there is no power till i get to 4000 RPMS then it pulls like it used to but at 4000 RPMS it sounds like it is closer to 5 or 6000 RPMS i dont know if there are wires that need to be matched with other colors or if it just wont work any advice you guys can give me i would really appreciate.

I already tried that diagram and for the number 2 plug it says blue/green for the big plug this distributor does not have a blue/green wire in that spot I have a lt blue from the harness and a lt blue from the distributor all the other wires are hooked up just like it says maybe It is hooked up right and it's something else causing it if I drive it while the engine is cold it runs perfect but once it warms up it starts showing the problems is there anything else I should check that would cause these symptoms

The obd2 distributor does not have a crank sensor inside. Put your harness plug back and get the correct distributor.

Yes it does, the obd1 and 2 are pretty much identical except for plug styles.
