Default help with tucking the engine bay wiring on 00 civic si

not sure where to put this question so monitors please feel free to help me or maybe this will work considering the car.

so all you guys and gals out there that pulled the fuse box box though the firewall on a 96- 00 civic when you go to put the headlight harness though out side of the fender do you over size this certain access hole?

i cant really find another good way to tuck it without having to oversize this hole so a plug/connector will fit though to connect it to the rest of the body harness

i just bought a chase bays tuck kit so im in the process of brain storming now and figuring out where everything should go.

btw this is my first time tucking anything every but ive had plenty of builds just never really cared to try it.

any opinions or help is appreciated.

Don't do it.

I just turned down the purchase of really nice Del Sol.
Unfortunately it had a 'tuck'.
IMO it ruins an otherwise nice car.

Do you plan on keeping your car forever?
You will reduce the number of potential buyers by a large percentage.

i can completely understand you're thinking on this and for the most part agree with you especially with all the notorious "so called tucked bay" out there that turn up to be just cut and spliced to **** and problems. most are just being better off buy a new harness and starting over.

On the other half i plan on keeping this car for as long as i can imagine.... forever" who knows honestly...
The reason being when i was 18 i bought an almost brand new at the time 00 Civic SI with 22k miles and loved it. I wanted one new but could not afford it at the time.
Its the one in my signature. Unfortunately i bought a house and sold it....

Here i am a few years later and still in regret so i picked up another one and, i have the same plan as before clean and fast and, most important done correctly and how i like.
i am doning a tuck also because it will be alot easier to pull apart IMO plus the battery location will be where catch can will be placed.

I have a new mil spec engine harness and everything works perfectly. Everything is labeled and easy to install.

Idk what the problem is. Old corroded oem wiring plays havoc on the electrical system. I agree that tucked harnesses made by some kid some sunday afternoon isnt the best thing to do.
