While many new ID injectors are fake lets not be so quick to claim shenanigans here. ID wasn't always doing the laser engraving. I bought my IDs directly from T1race in 2009 and they also lack the laser engraving but have the hand engraved serial number like these. Best you can do is contact ID and have them check the number.

 

Dont believe I said they were fake I said might want to make sure they are real with the company before buying. I have first hand dealt with this crap. Just helping you guys be aware or the less knowledgeable shoppers

 

That's funny because I've bought 2 sets of these over the years and they both were hand engraved.
I'm 110% there real but yea do all the research you want and check the serial number.

 

I emailed Injector dynamics and they confirmed what I already knew. That these are legit id1000s injectors. I can forward the email to anyone that is interested in buying my injectors.

I bought some off of this site, they were hand engraved. Looked just like the real deal, another member bought a set from the same guy, he emailed me and said he had his checked out bc they were running weird. T1 said they were fake so we had to deal with paypal for a month. Its not about having serial numbers. There are a ton of fakes bc theyre easy to make. But once again I did not claim them to be fake. Yes I have my own suspicions but I was simply informing anyone looking at these in general

 

Well next time you see a for sale thread for Id1000s make sure you inform people that they could be fake. While your at it I've heard of people knocking off hondata s300 chips and knockoff wastegates and BOVs. So if you see any for sale threads about them. Fell free to let the people know that they might be fake.
Unless you buying or are 100% sure that it's a scam then stay off of people for sale threads. Thank you.
