HELP PLEASE, clutch won't build pressure
1993 civic 3dr dx with b18b 5speed
so the civic has been siting for the past six years while i was working in the middle east. I noticed the clutch pedal was like a sponge, and piston seal was leaking. so decided to replace the clutch cylinder & slave cylinder.
I replaced the the clutch cylinder from factory to a Omni Power. I have been pumping the clutch pedal for 30mins and still no pressure or fluid coming out the bleeder screw. I checked and double check all the connections for leaks or loose fittings or maybe a bent line. I removed the hard line at the clutch cylinder to make it was pumping fluid out and it was.
any help would be great
also I hooked up the clear tube to the bleeder screw to a bottle semi filled with brake fluid to make sure no air returns in the system
1. pump 20 to 25x hold
2. loosen bleeder screw in front of trans.
3. tighten bleeder screw.
4. check brake fluid
5. repeat

If its not building pressure than a seal is leaking, the rubber line is deteriorating.
edit: I hope you bench bleed the cmc before installing.
