injector flow rate stock ecu eg civic max
greets guys, I know my stock cx 94 hatch uses 190cc saturated injectors and most the others flow 240... anyway I am swapping a d16z6 and came across some rc inj with a 330 flow rate saturated not peak hold for a great price...
so how much flow rate can the stock ecu not just my cx but all of the d series eg's handle and trim out before I need chipped or piggyback.... I thought 330 is about max flow for the ecu and don't want to wash down the cyl walls... anyone know off hand? I would want to run them before I even drop in the d16z6...
thanks in advance best regards dave

Just because injectors are aftermarket doesn't mean theyre plug and play.
For the stock ecu just leave everything alone. You dont need them nor are they an upgrade until you put some serious mods into the engine.

idont recall locking it.. but then again i was on my phone when responding. so maybe something happened
The ECU is designed for whatever the OEM injector is. Its set for the timing of the pulse. Adding larger injectors which flow more will add too much gas. Hence why tuning is needed.
