Default Thermostat and rad fan - 94 civic dx

Noticed that my temp gauge has been working intermittently. So when car is stopped but started my rad fan isn't engaging. Any ideas?

Does your car heat up when you're at a full stop then go back to normal temp when you're rolling?Cause if so I had the same issues last week and I fixed it.
This video helped me

Then swap out your thermostat if that doesn't work then its probably your thermo switch. The guy explains everything in the video.

Not sure what else to say? Like I said the temp gauge in car works sometimes, fan never works. No blown fuses, haven't checked relay.

I haven't noticed the car overheating. But haven't left is running sitting still. Gonna try the video.
