Default Swapping D16Y5

Did you ever get it to go on there? Asking in regards to this thread.
Im new at this honda stuff and i also have a d16y5 motor but it was already in there so im not sure if they put it together properly or not..
I cant make my own post for some reason so im going to ask on everyones post lol.

I find that to be funny , considering alot of new members are able to post but you....


Its not easy to because this engine didn't come with a 4spd automatic.

I don't have the d16y5, I have the 3 stage vtec d15b, a combination of vtec-e and vtec.

I never said I couldn't. I just said that its not easy to run the d16y5 on a 4spd automatic because it never came in that form.

You wont have an ECU to control the trans because the HX came with a CVT.

Not sure if you can chip an auto P06 and retain the auto transmission controls.

Maybe try a 1988 auto D series trans if they're fully hydraulically controlled.
