i just bought a del sol. it had a headlight socket spliced onto the corner light. i took it apart to put the right socket on and i tried to test for power. the power was there. i accidently let the wires touch together and lost all power. all lights on the car work. the corner light does not work for running lights, turning signal or hazards. only the one light. its the driver side front corner. i tested for power using the negative battery terminal. any info will be helpful. thanks in advance

 

Maybe it's the bulb that burned out, if all else is working except that light.

 

There is no power for the bulb to work.

 

Does anyone know where the power wires runs to coming from driver side corner light

 

Checked fuse?

 

Can't be a fuse since other lights work, it's going to be that wire .

 

Post pictures of the bulb socket and the wires coming from the rear side of the socket.
