Default Advice for hondata s300 or stock ecu

I have a stock 97 jdm itr motor with 2.5" exhaust, jdm itr header, high flow test pipe, cai and running on the stock p73 ecu. Would I benefit much for running an hondata s300?

I know I would need the p28 ecu with the hondata s300 and a jumper harness OBD2A to OBD1 ECU Jumper Harness correct?

THanks

The most benefit would probably be better AFR so you will get better gas milage which saves you money in the long run and the motor will fell much more responsive. and you don't need a s300 get a hondata s100 chipped in the ecu and its all you need you can even get free software like chrome from your tunner and tune the motor on that.
