Nah I heard the guy made 2900 on a mustang dyno and tried claiming it would have made 3000 on a dyno jet. so there is no actual 3000 hp k20 its bs. close though

 

Its got a new filter and broke 3,000 HP on a dyna pack i heard..

 

I don't know about the record for a "fully" built k20 but the record as far as I know is 3000whp for the k20 and 3000 ft lbs tq for k24. The builder claimed they were both "built all to hell and back twice over!"

track numbers are what anyone should worry about...

 

Yea i heard it ran 2 min flat at button willow.

 

no it was 2,998 hp, but it was on Church's Dyno so its more like 325whp

 

Churches dyno only reads about 10-15 hp more than a mustang dyno this is actual fact. So its actually 3,015 HP.

 

So 3,014?
