I ran my car at the track a couple of weeks ago, and I nearly spun the tires off of the rim in 1st gear. LOL I still pulled a 1.9 60' though. I was only running a 20x8x14, so I think I'm going to go up to a 22x9x13 next and see what happens. I'm probably going to get something through exospeed.

What was your times on street tires...and slicks? Nice difference or not worth it?

 

Ya you have alot of mods for that size of a slick. at least step up to a 22x8x13 and that would last you for awhile.

 

I've only made 2 passes on the track with slicks. My first pass I got up to the line, and launched. I bogged down and fell out of v-tec and had to come back. I still pulled a 2.0 60' and a 14.00@97.03 The funny thing is that I never intended on running that pass all motor. I looked down and my nitrous switch was OFF My next pass I made sure that the switch was turned on, and that time I ran a 12.75@110.20 with a 1.90 60' To bu such a novice at running on slicks there is a lot of room for improvement. One other thing that I know would improve my times is to shift a little earlier. 9500 rpm's when spraying nitrous comes really quick
