I need some help to figure out what year JDM ITR ecu I have. Also are there any websites that have the ECU numbers decifered.(sp?)
The ecu is labeled: 37820-P73-013 What is the 013#?
967-204847 Is this a serial #?

Honda's part number for ECU, which is always 37820
Three characters (which are loosely related to the model of car/engine). e.g P73
Three characters (which are the revision of the ECU) e.g. A01
i'm not sure about the 967-204847.

Thanks for the info.
How can you tell if a P73 Ecu is a JDM ecu or USDM ecu? I would assume it is in the 013 version #, Is there anyone that can break down the versions.
Lastly is there any advantage to running the JDM ITR ecu over the USDM ITR ecu? I know the VTEC engagement point is lower and there is a speed limiter on the JDM ecu. Is the limiter dissabled by using a VAFC?
Thanks for all of the help

v-AFc isn't like the fields. It woun't cancel out the speed limiter. The easy way to tell if its the USDM or JDM ECU is to plug it start the car and see if you get a code. Depending on the motor you'll code a few different vtec codes (JDM ECU doesn't use oil pressure to trigger vtec, USDM does).
Matt,
P73 : 96-00 OBD-2 Integra Type-R (JDM & USDM) .... they use the same code. I'm guessing the serial number would give away which it was, us or japan. Of course, I have never seen any info on the serial number breakdown. Maybe you'd have to plug it in to find out...

P73 = ITR
013 = revision #. 013 i believe is 98, but dont quote me on that.
USDM ECUs will end in A** JDM is 0**
If an ecu has *5* then it is an automatic ecu
The last number is the serial #
