Question about Integra seats in EK's
Searched, but can't find the answer to this specific question...
When swapping Integra seats into an EK, I know the EK rails have to be used. The one thing I'm unclear on after looking at a few write ups and searching is whether or not both rails from the EK seats need to be used, or just the inner rail so that the rear of the inner rail will bolt down. The write ups that I've found only seem to be describing the process for swapping that rail, and not the outer. That being said, do I also need to swap the outer rail? Any help or advice is appreciated.
Since I know someone will probably ask...the seats in question are out of a 94 Integra, and they're going into a 2000 Civic coupe.

The answer is clear, use ek rails. If you want to try using one side that will be on you. I like to keep it simple, replace them both.
I did some research on this when I wanted to fit dc2 recaros in my EG. If it's the same, you only need to swap the inner rails with the ek inner rails. But you might as well keep it consistent and swap both. You can then sell the extra rails. Alternatively you can modify the integra inner rails and extend it to fit the forth hole.
*put EJ instead of EG

In all my searches concerning Integra seats, I never saw anything specific about swapping a single rail. In actuality, I never saw the idea mentioned ever.
The general response I always saw about putting EG or Integra seats in an EK said swap rails (always plural). So I would assume both rails.
For fun do both on one and then try doing just one on the other and see what the issues might be.
Or you can compare the rails once you have them off both the EK and the Teg seat.

See, this is where the confusion comes in for me...every write up says rails, implying that both are to be swapped. Then I start reading through the write up, and no matter who did the write up, any pics or procedures are only referencing or showing the inner rail. There doesn't seem to be any variation.
The way I have always done this, included seat swaps from a del sol, eg, dc and s2k was, I always swapped BOTH rails and pans ( s2k seats ).
I've had a buddy who also had dc2 swapped in using just the INNER rail. everyone does it different. Only thing to do is, just play around and find out.

ive done this swap 100 times both ways. Swap the inner rail only unless you really want the extra work to swap both. The outer rails are constructed differently but have the same geometry and bolt up fine
