Hello I have been out of the Honda game for 5 years now I am happy to be back.. I had own a yellow 2001 type r like 3 years ago and I regretted selling it tell now. I'm so happy I got this one but I need to do some things to make it better. I would love to here on suspension ideas and exhaust I ideas as I am stumped lol. Thinking I will have about $1300 to spend on suspension. Amy ideas? Might track it some times other then that daily. I want something that is not going to bottom out and I don't want anything that hops. I had Koni gc on my hatch and loved it.

thinking am going to go with koni gc 450 f 375 r. any idea's on that or if some one has that set up pls let me know if it is good for daily.

 

i think those spring rates are going to be a bit bouncy for off the shelf koni. i have a pair of the uprated koni shocks for the rear if you want them, don't have fronts.

I'd go for some buddy club r-spec or pic-select coilovers for the price range you mentioned. Many love the GC/Koni combo, but I've tried it twice and in both cases I've been dissatisfied mainly b/c of the inability to adjust for compression for the rates i want to use.
