I went to open my hood this morning and the cable just pulled right out of its place no tension to it at all... I tried to jack the car up and reach it underneath no luck..... I can reach the latch from the front bumper but no luck there either....... How can I unlock my hood?

 

If the cable hasn't broke and is still connected to the latch, you can just pull the cable until it pops.
If the cable is no longer attached at all to the latch then you will have to study the latch with a very bright light from underneath and look for the little pull lever to release it.
If you have AC this will be hard to gain access. You may find some room to operate the little latch through the grill opening once removed.

 

You pull the cable with a pair of pliers.

 

The cable was caught on the hood latch... I jacked the car up and pulled the cable.. Pop..... !!!!!!!
