what years were the tranny's recalled on the H22 SS??? just wondering, b/c i am about to put one in a del Sol, so i'd rather have one that i don't have to replace the tranny.

 

its not a recall. its more honda extending warranty for 2000+ models. i think its 7yr/100,000 but not sure on that.

 

He's right about that. The 7-year/100,000 mile extended warranty applies to 2000-2001 Preludes with SS transmissions. Needless to say, 1999 and below Prelude owners aren't too happy about the range of covered model years.

yeah, i was just curious, i never run into the problem with my Lude, so it never really concerned me. anyways, i decided to go w/ a 5 speed swap and convert the car from an automatic, but thanks anyways
