f23 block/f22a head
Building an f2b sohc for my crx. F23a1 block, new .50mm oversized k20a2 pistons, polished f22a6 head, delta 272 cam, ported and port matched 70mm tb on h23 IM and custom header on E85.
Went to clay the head to check p2v clearance, and was gonna go ahead and degree the cam in too, but I dropped the bolts in for the head and they were way too short. I was under the impression that they were f22b6 head bolts, but truth be told I don't what they are.
My question for the others with this setup is what head bolts did you use? My block did not come with the head bolts and neither did the head. I need to know so I can order them. Hope to drop engine in this weekend.

Apparently, f22a and f23a are the same. Both use 12x163 bolts with a longer 12x199 bolt in the middle. The f22a ones oddly enough were twice as expensive.
I figured they were the same. Pretty sure the ones I tried were b series.

just to add to this info, when changing up to head studs the ARP set for the H23A1 will fit this set up. they don't (or didn't when I ordered mine) specify fitment for the F23/F22A.
