Default CD5 caster question

To start it off, I have a 94 accord with factory suspension. I bought an XXR 527 17x8.25. I only bought one to check fitment. It fits well but I'm gonna have to roll fenders and flare them out a bit to fit the way I want but that's another discussion.

I put the wheel on the back and it looks great. When I put it on the front, I noticed that the caster was off by a good bit. By that I mean the wheel is pushed back. The tire distance to the front bumper is about 6" and distance to the fender is about 2-3". I hope that makes sense to you guys. I can try and get a picture to put up but it will probably be tomorrow at the earliest.

My questions is, are there any go-to fixes for this?

From what I can see online, this is not normal. I searched for quite a while and couldn't find anything. I specifically typed in caster and it keeps searching camber.

I bought the car a few months ago and just changed the motor so I have no previous history. Next will be suspension. I plan on buying the other 3 wheels in the next couple of days then some drop springs but I'd rather get this suspension correct before dropping it. As far as I can tell, from a visual standpoint, nothing looks damaged.

Any help would be appreciated.

I hate to tell you this but it's very likely the car was in a frontal collision and the shop did not fix the suspension. It's very common on cars with radius rods attached to the front cross member (CRX, EF Civic)

Jack up the car and see if the front cross member looks bent or distorted.

Thanks for the reply. I can tell the car was in a front end collision because the front core support is bent at the bottom but everything else looks fine all I didnt think it was too serious. I put it on a lift at work and was replacing the inner and outer tie rod ends and I didnt see anything out of the ordinary. Ill check again tomorrow.

Figured it out last night after closing time. The passenger lower control it doing this number ---> )

Completely didn't notice. I've seen some cars where they are like that on purpose so that's why I didn't pay much attention to it. Thankfully they have some good prices on the internet so getting a replacement will be easy.

Gonna just change it out when I install the drop springs in a week.

Thanks for the assistance spaceballs.

That must have been a hard hit. The lower control arm cannot bend as described w/o also distorting the radius rod.
I am glad you found the problem.
