Have 91 lx with d15b2 obd 0 with dpfi and engine is shot. Needing a quick and simple swap since this is my Eco car. Thinking of just pulling d16a6 from 91 civic ex. Question is what will I need besides engine tranny wiring harness. And is the engine wiring harness going to directly plug into the dash harness connector. Basically will any change in wiring anywhere. And I'm guessing distributor is different since obd 1. Any help or insight so I can get everything in one swoop and tackle on a weekend since this is my only drive able car and decided to do two other projects in the garage at once

The 91 EX is OBD0. You just need to convert DPFI to MPFI which has been covered extensively.

 

Can I just take the ex engine harness to avoid using my current harness and converting it to avoid downtime

 

As I understand it, that involves even more work than a standard DPFI>MPFI conversion because the cabin harness where it connects isn't the same.
