Default Bought and rebuilding a b18c1. Info would be awesome.

New to hondas, so far this is what the motor came with when i bought it

Skunk2 74mm throttle body
Skunk2 pro series intake manifold
B16 pistons
Arp studs

Dual valve springs with titanium retainers
75lb seat pressure @1.320

How high do you think this thing can turn (rpm)

Any guestimates on any numbers?

Bought it as an investment really. gsr 4 door with jdm front end and the engine for a steal.

It came to me boosted on 9 lbs with low compression on cylinder 1,

Its obviously all good stuff so i figured id rebuild it and sell it. Motor already has tons of work done. Figured someone could use a nice piece instead of some gamble from over seas.

Ohh alright. Well fix the compression. Its either a valve thats bent, or rings are bad. Fix that. You can probably sell it back just like that and make money off of it.

stock gsr rods? or are those arp rod bolts?

ive seen stock rods with arp bolts go in the 9500 rpm range but its totally a waste if the cams dont make power there. what cams did it come with. also i think 74mm tb is a bit overkill

Stock p72 rods with stock bolts
Pr3 pistons, every single one of them had cracked ring lands.

Anybetter suggestion on pistons or should i just stick with pr3s? Not looking to spend to much money.

74mm came with it along with everything else listed.

Not sure on the cam yet, i took them off but didnt even care to take a peak.
