Predator STC turbo 650whp.6500 mile update.
Well guys thought id take some time and update on how the car has done so far. To bring up to speed it is a built 2.0 with Shodans predator billet wheel turbo and Garrett i/c. Made 485 on 17lbs pump gas and 650 @26lbs on walbro 400, ID1300's, the 1ks ran out of steam around 600whp. I've put about 6500 miles on it, made three passes at the strip and went a 11.0/10.98/10.83@136 with a 23.5 tire which was too short cause I went through the lights on the limiter on the 10.83 pass. Car did this with a/c, heat, Full interior, ect. Street car! The car has numerous street pulls and friends going for rides with virtually no issues. Only thing I've changed is catch can setup to a T1 can with 2 -12an front lines and -10an rears. Aside from that things have been very solid. Proof that when built properly and with good parts things can be factory reliable. Props to Shodan for leading me toward the right turbo setup. MCP cylinder heads for a ballin cnc head that helped make the numbers, T1 race for taking the time to tune it and bud light for supplying substance to ease the pain of money spent lol.

You and I have virtually the same setup. Shodan was telling me about how our setups are ao much a like. I'm at work at the moment but I'll post again with a few questions. I'm loving my predator turbo! But I have a special edition black high gloss finish
error. I was just stating a reference. I dont constitute that it has gone 200k miles or anything but just posting for fun and information purposes.

harsh.... but I agree...
That's not to take away from the OP qaulity parts, well thoughtout build.
IMHO 6,500 miles is pretty darn good for a turbo that see's a lot of abuse making a lot of power.
what fuel type were you on at 650whp?
Any chance I could get a glimps of the dyno chart?

Going back through my messages I found this info on the predator>the predator is 60lbs/min using a standard Garrett T04E compressor cover, and comes standard with a .63A/R T31 4 bolt housing
I believe an updated product video is in the works for us all to enjoy soon!

In case anyone wonders how close the predator fits on a b series, I run the spoolin quick4 ac manifold... Picture shown shows how close the compressor is to the block. Had to actually shave the nipple off the slave bleeder to make it fit!
It's what I'm currently building too for a friend of mine. Same set-up and most of turbo parts from Mac and a/c mani/down pipe combo from spoolin' as well.

Rad and fan fitment is a bit of a challenge though, specially trying to keep a/c. Currently waiting for a slim full length rad and a spal fan then off we go.
Nice!! You Sir are my inspiration! LOL

Yes, the intake off the turbo on mine rubs the fan a bit. I actually just removed ac since i never turned it on and my fan actually drilled a hole in the rad from the 8mm nut that holds the fan blade on pressing against the radiator. I placed both fans on front now and have tons of room. It is doable just tight as heck in there with everything in place.
