What should I do with her? 2001 Black ITR
So here's the story
I got t-boned, and now a month later, insurance has called her a total loss.
There was no engine damage, but apparently the estimate was too high for insurance (even though I took it to one of their "preferred" shops.)
Of course I'm going to buy it back from them, as I know I could get more even if I just part her out.
I've already gotten my hands on another ITR (PY 00-0001) but...
- Should I get her all fixed up to sell
- Sell her as is, and hope the buyer fixes her rather than part her out
- Keep her as a daily (not sure I can afford this option, with my new purchase)
She's drivable, but the door doesn't shut all the way. I had the inner and outer tire rods replaced so I could drive her from the site of the accident back home (9 hours away). Again, no damage to the engine, and from what I understand, none to the frame either...

Passenger rear quarter panel was hit from parking lot accident and has been repainted
No Type-R badges on the exterior of the vehicle, except OEM red Acura emblems

Lo-Jack installed
Stock 15" USDM ITR wheels
Stock interior (seats in great condition)
Stock engine w bolt-ons
Comptech Icebox
Skunk2 4-2-1 headers (2.5" opening)
2.5" custom mandrel bent exhaust
(Includes non-stock 2.5" cat)
2.5" magnaflow muffler
Oil change every 2500 miles (with Mobil1 or Royal Purple only)

Where are you located?
I had a similar issue myself but my front end got T-boned from the driver side, luckily it didnt touch the engine. With both air bags deployed and windshield busted.
I rebuilt her, still love her for how well she does on a daily basis and on the track.
