hello honda techers, i encounter this problem many times but recently it seems quite often that this thing happened. i attached a video file using my cellphone for you guys to hear.
sorry if the sound recorded not loud enough. if you listen carefully from 1st second to 8/9 seconds in the video, you'll hear the rattling sound on the passenger side of the car. By the way it's a honda civic 96 (mf616). when i first turn the key, this sound occurred and the engine won't start. i had to turn off for a while and start again(in the video i managed to start it the second time). at times i had to do this 2-3 times before the engine start. I also noticed that my car battery is like getting weaker and weaker by the day judging from the starting engine sound. What could be the cause of this problem?

 

I seriously don't understand why people don't address there real issues they are having with the car. Please prioritize your ****, you having issues running you car, you have a weak battery. The rattle can wait because its probably your exhaust or a bolt sitting loose on the exhaust.

 

the battery was bought last month and was fully charged. as for the exhaust, i don't get it?

 

Have you checked for parasitic draw?
