Ive looked around and havent found a thread on this. When i give it gas(clutch already in) in 1st gear or i let off the gas then try to keep a steady rpm below about 3k it will "bounce" when i say bounce its like a motorcycle with a loose chain, when the chain goes loose the engine revs higher and pulls the chain tight then the bike jerks and the process continues. I had a bad passenger axle and i replaced it hoping it was just slack in the axle but that didnt do it. Id hate to think i ts the motor mounts since their almost brand new... Anyone have any thoughts? 94 civic si hatch with b20vtec swap, aem intake and fuel rail, skunk 2 throttle body etc etc oh and ys1 big spline tranny

 

It jerks.......you need to check your tps sensor.

 

And what clutch and flywheel are you using?

 

X2 mine had a dead spot at around 2k rpm ,when I hit 2k my car jumped like it got bit in the ***, anything before or after it ran perfectly fine.

 

wow totally forgot about this post lol, i fixed the problem. It was the throttle body stop screw was missing and was doing wierd things to my tps making it stop fuel then add fuel and bouncing me around. Thanks for your input all
