I have a 96 honda civic and my passenger window rolls down but not up. I replaced the regulator and motor and still nothing. Any help?

 

Mine did this also and it was the rubber seals that are on the sides. They get dirt and crap in them which lead to friction.

Clean them out and use some sort of silicone lube and see how that werks for ya.

 

I have the window out of the passenger side the regulator will not go up I can hear it trying to go down but its all the way down.

 

Check the cables, some times they work their way loose,make sure they are around all of the pulleys, or the gear on the regulator sometime wear with age.

Cables? I'm pretty sure our window regulators do not use cables.

OP, you have the window out and the regulator isn't going up then the problem is either your regulator *and or guides* or the motor. Not much else to it.

Since it rolls down that means the wiring is ok. If a wire to it was broke it wouldn't go down either.
