new battery, won't start, no power
I need some help trouble shooting a problem with my 1996 Honda Accord LX automatic trans. I put a new battery in it this last spring and it has started fine until the other day. I tried to start it and back it out of the garage and when I turned the key I had no power, no click, nothing. I proceeded to charge the battery thinking it had been drained somehow. This was not the case. The battery charger showed full charge, so I checked the terminals and all was clean and getting contact. I checked fuses, all looked good. No power windows, door locks, headlights, brake lights, nothing. Would the ECU module possibly be the cause of this? I think I've ruled out everything else. Any help? Thanks.
I will try that in the morning and see if the ignition switch is the problem. I thought the emergency flashers should work even if the ignition switch was bad. But going to check it and see if I have juice to the ignition. Thanks.

Check to make sure your battery is grounded to the car not just at the battery terminal. Follow the leads down and clean and reconnect them. Had this problem on a civic the other day, so I figured I would mention it
Pull the hazrad switch - then the plug. Key off, do you have battery voltage on the WHT/GRN wire?
If not, as stated you have either a blown fuse in the under hood fuse box or a bad battery connection (as stated check all ends of both cables) or a bad battery - you said the battery had voltage but does it hold under a load?

Ohms tested at .06 with ignition off. I've cleaned all terminals and connections. I still get no clicks or anything from relay switches when I turn the key on. Still nothing works at all.

Thanks holmesmanny, I finally figured it out. For some reason my battery charger was showing full charge, that was not the case. I pushed my car out of the garage and jump started it with my truck. The battery was just so dead I got nothing. Here's what's funny, after I got it started and had charged the battery, I pulled into the garage again and shut it off and started putting tools away, all of the sudden I heard one of the door lock solenoid give out a lengthy sqawk. It did this a few more times. At that point I had my answer, the door lock solenoid was draining my battery each time it sqawked. So now I know the culprit and will be working on the locks. Thank you for your help and patience, I really appreciate it : )
