Default intercooler backdoor fabricating

moving the inlet from side to back. I figure cut the old one off and then reweld a 2.5" to the back easy enough right but what about all the alum shavings left in the cooler. seems like it will co straight into the intercooler.
How are you solving this issue. I dont thing just blowing it out will work

I've modded every intercooler I have owned, if its new I washed out with a garden hose, if its used I washed with degreaser and a garden hose. Never had a problem.

I use a decent sized vacuum on the endtank while cutting. It usually gets most of the debris. Hook it up like it is a charge pipe.

Just have to take care to get as much crap out as possible.

Realistically speaking, and I know people hate to think about this, but extremely small specs of aluminum will pass through an engine without any damage at all. Happens more than you think.
