Default 1998 honda crv, help

I have a 1998 crv b20 5 speed I am really looking to get alittle more power what would I need to have VTEC and what would be the price range to make it a nice setup thank you fellow Honda crv owners I love you all.

Don't do it. Drive this car to work everyday, buy an additional car you want to dick with and buzz around in.

Get vtec head, get obd2a to obd1 conversion harness, add vtec/knock/vtec pressure wire to current harness, chipped ecu with b20/vtec basemap and get it tuned. Beer, keep the love.
