Default automatic B20 vtec

I have a friend who has a obd2 crv and he wants to do some all motor upgrade but he dont know what to do exactly that will give him some big power gains, so I sugested he do a b20 vtec setup, neither of us know the details of what will be needed to accomplish this setup, the car is automatic and obd2,
checklist:
vtec b series head
oil line kit
head gasket
vtec wiring harness
what ecu would complete this setup? he wants to keep it automatic. and anything else that is needed.

please help thanks!

with an automatic.. youll never see vtec. I say its a waste of money. keep the CRV for winter, buy a civic to build for the spring/summer
