i tend to stay away from cars that have been "tampered" with. never know whats going on with those. but its a R and maybe the best chance of getting one. also be careful posting all that info on here someone might buy it out from under u lol

Check for rust lol and ask for receipts of the internal parts, if you go see it in person check the turbo for shaft play, make sure theres no major leaks. Pretty sure youd be able to handle the little issues if there are any.

That definitely looks like a sunroof. If it is, it's not an R.

Subaru costs too much to do anything "real" to it.

I think he purposely took the pics at those angles to hide it...also a pic of this built engine would be nice. Knowing the type of idiots that own these car up here(they think they're hard thugs) could very well be a fake. the one interior shot I cant see enough detail to tell.

even if it's not a R it might still be an ok car idk why no engine bay pics tho

From clicking on the link and looking at the first picture, the middle of the roof seems slightly black exactly where a sunroof would be. Interior pic seems like there's the sunroof switch as well.

That is definately not an R! Whoever is sellin it is shady enough to try to sell it as an r means you dont want it to begin with.... no tellin whats wrong with it. Or how much of it is stolen etc...

Could be an after market sunroof, I've seen people cut a joke in the roof and put in a pop up sun roof.

Best thing to do is go and look at it.

Either way even if it's not an r still a clean car (depending on what the inside and engine bay looks like ) and driving down the highway no one would know the difference

If the build was done right with quality ie expensive parts then it may be worth it and a good buy. (Btw ditch that subbie bro lol) 👍👍👍😜

The quest for a clean integra continues...Subaru will remain with me until then. NEVER sell your integra there is something special about them...idk what it is tho.

I doubt this is real. Are these the types of posts you were talking about in the other thread? ITR's aren't cheap. The cheap ones get sold in 5 mins. I sold mine so cheap :'(. Twice. :'( :'(

If its not an ITR, hell no I wouldn't buy it for $7k.

He says its a REAL ITR #521. Even with the unfortunate sunroof and a turbo...that would be worth more than $7k (if it were real).

Likely scenarios:
-prank
-sold into sex.slavery when you go to meet him
-other scam
-it's a GSR and he's a liar.
-it's an ITR and he's addicted to crack...and he was once so high that he had to install that hideous roof.

No reasons to buy....except that last one.

I've seen a couple (maybe even 3?) ITR's with sunroofs trade hands. They're not common nor are they particularly sought after. IIRC, there were some folks who wanted a sunroof and had one added as a dealer installed option. Good news is that they function just like the OE setup in the GS/GSR. Bad news is that it'll take a new roof skin and headliner to fix.

Sunroof would have to go. Totally ruins the car, IMO. Perhaps it would be a good excuse to buy a carbon roof lol.

Nahh the "cheap" ones have poped up on our GTA buy n sell fb page, they seemed like solid cars looked very good and were asking in the 10K range with around 120ish KM's. Think I'll pass I already owned a white integra going to go look at one this weekend its turbo'd either way how do I check for shaft play? just push on the turbo fin thing.

Try to move the impeller shaft around. In and out movement is worse than up and down. If there is play make sure none of the impeller blades are chipped or scraping on the housing. If its a journal bearing turbo, you can check for play again after the cars idled for a little and cooled down some.
