injectors for turbo
I just got a ebay turbo kit for free wanted to know what's the cheapest way to put bigger injectors. It's a 1.5 converted to mpfi still obd0. I'm planning on doing a 255 in tank and rising rate fpr just don't want to put any serious money into it not building for power more just to hear the bov. Not planing to push more than 5-6 psi. Should i do dsm injectors or what and what's a good size. Please no I'm a dummy for stock motor and just convert to obd1.
From the sound of it, you are slopping this together and you don't care, or aren't aware, that your path is leading to killing your motor.
You select the injector size by the power you are expecting to see.
You don't just put injectors in, you need a tune.
A 'basemap' that you buy over the internet is not a tune.
a 'basemap' is intended to allow you to start your motor so you can begin tuning.
Saying 5~6psi is meaningless in your post. That means very different things when you are comparing a smaller to a larger turbo.

On the cheap.
Stock injectors
12:1 FMU
MSD ignition box with Boost retard.
People used to do this back in the day before all the tuning options came out. There used to be a guy here that ran high 13's for years with a low power set-up like that.
