My wife has told me when she turned on the AC, she got a rotten egg smell and the engine temp gage dropped to cold. She turned the AC off, and smell went away and temp gage returned to normal. She said car was running fine other than this. I tried it and the AC worked fine with no smell and the temp gage worked fine. Any ideas?

Honest answer? It sounds like your wife was driving near a landfill, and she doesn't realize that the temp needle should be a little below halfway, or she doesn't realize the car doesn't instantly warm up.
